Little Sea Fish

INGREDIENTS

15g dried Seaweed / (equivalent to 100g soaked)​​

1 ½ tsp salt​

130 g corn flour​

1 tsp garlic powder​

Freshly ground Pepper

1 egg (Large)​

150 ml water​

700 ml olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak dried Seaweed in cold water for 10-15 minutes, allowing it to expand. Drain the water by running the Seaweed under running water.

Cook the Seaweed for 5 minutes in boiling water, seasoned with 1 teaspoon of salt.

In a bowl, mix the corn flour with the remaining salt, the garlic powder and a pinch of freshly ground pepper. Add the egg previously beaten and about 150 ml of water, stirring well with a fork until you get a smooth batter.

Drain the cooked seaweed, spread on a kitchen cloth and rinse well. Run them over the batter.

In a frying pan heat the oil and fry the seaweed until golden brown.

 

Drain well on kitchen paper.
