Seaweed Pizza

INGREDIENTS

 

Crust

​500 g whole wheat​ flour

20g fresh yeast ​

100 ml olive oil​

200 ml water​

salt​

 

Filling

10g dried seaweed (equivalent to 75g soaked)​

1 onion​

1 carrot​

2 ripe tomatos​

ginger​

basil​

salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Soak dried Seaweed in cold water for 15-20 minutes, allowing it to expand. Drain the water by running the Seaweed under running water.

 

Dissolve the yeast in 200 ml of warm water; Mix the flour with the salt; Add the water with the yeast and knead; Add the olive oil and knead vigorously until the dough does not stick to your fingers (add a little water or flour if necessary). Knead for about 10 minutes;​

 

Let the dough stand for 30 minutes and knead again; Roll it out and leave it ready for filling. Peel the onion and sauté in olive oil; Wash the carrot and cut it into julienne. When the onion is almost transparent add the carrot; Add the soaked seaweed and mix well; Let it cook another 10 minutes; Remove from heat and season with spices.​

 

Place the pizza crust in the oven for 10 minutes; Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and slice them.​

 

Place the tomato slices on top of the crust and then distribute the braised onion, carrot and spaghetti seaweed. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano. ​

 

Bake for 15 minutes.​
